The newest addition to the Avita home team is one of the 2007 puppies, Avita Cinq a Sept called Woot or Wootie.  Already quite a character at five months, we are looking forward to an exciting time as she soon begins her activities.

"Am I adorable or what?"

I'm sometimes asked what Woot means.  I'm pleased and surprised to see that is was the Merriam Webster online dictionary word of the year.  They define it as "an interjection expressing joy (it could be after a triumph, or for no reason at all); similar in use to the word 'yay'."

Woot's call name is meant as just that - an expression of the joy we have in her.
